Kalakriti Art Gallery, in association with Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad and Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad, is organising an exhibition of photographs taken by Saraswati Kavula, from 17th to 24th March, at the Kalakriti Art Gallery.
Titled "Remember The Time... Because Inside Of Us Lies Dormant A Love For The Rustic...", the work reflects the concerns arising out of a growth-centric economy and its impact on two-thirds of Indians who live in India's villages.
Saraswati Kavula is a documentary filmmaker and activist, who has worked on issues concerning environment and rural livelihoods. This exhibition is an effort to bring back the rural to the forefront, in a highly urban-centric world of the present day, where we forget that
