When you are hell bent on proving that something works, well, it does!
The rock band Realms, playing at Hard Rock Cafe on 14th october, was formed by a bunch of 5 people who believed that music is the only medium to make a difference in the world. They are a band from Hyderabad.
The 5 band members, all self-proclaimed music addicts, comprise of Ashok on vocals, Awma on guitars, Shane on guitars, Mitchell on bass and Rohit on drums. Though they draw inspiration from other groups including Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Pagan's Mind and Underoath, they follow their heart's dictates and compose music that they like.
The resultant concoctions are some indigenous pieces traversing all genres. They have performed at events and festivals around the city, that include Youth Assembly India and the City Fest.
The band starts playing at 9pm, and the entry fees per person are Rs. 150. Please contact 4476-7900 for further details.
