PVR Cinemas is screening the movie, "Breakfast At Tiffany's" as part of the Ray-Ban Classic Movie Festival on 30th November, at 8pm.
Breakfast At Tiffany's is the love story of the eccentric Holly Golightly, played by Audrey Hepburn, who juggles between the lives of a sophisticated socialite and an errand-girl for an ex-mobster. Her quirky behaviour attracts the attention of her writer neighbour Paul Varjak, played by George Peppard. His writing-career picks up as he accompanies Holly in her visits to the mobster, and he gets more and more intrigued by his beautiful, whimsical neighbour.
Before long, Paul realises that he loves Holly, and plans to propose, but Holly is busy making plans to marry millionaires. When a certain millionaire rejects her on grounds of her alleged criminal link-up with the mobster, she decides to go to Brazil for good, but Paul manages to win her back.
The film won the Oscar in the "Best Music" category for the song "Moon River". It also won the WGA Award for "Best Written American Comedy", and a Grammy for the "Best Soundtrack".
