The Queer Campus Hyderabad will enact a choreographic play - Queen Size - at Lamakaan on February 8.
Queen Size is a choreographic exploration that takes the form of a detailed study of the intimacy between two men. Played out on a floormat, the duet examines the nuts and bolts - carnal, mechanical, and emotional - of a close encounter between two men. In deliberately making this encounter visible, queen-size poses questions around spectatorship, privacy, and dissent.
Queer Campus Hyderabad is an agglomeration of the LGBTQAA community in Hyderabad. The main aim of the group is to create a safe space for queer people to come out of the closet and talk, express, and be themselves.
