The 16th edition of the European Union Film Festival is being held from March 23rd to April 3rd at the Prasad Labs Preview Theatre. 19 films, focusing on the theme of "Laugh Like A European", will be screened at the festival.
Sunshine Barry And The Disco Worms (Disco Ormene), a Danish animation film, will be screened on the last day of the festival, i. e. 3rd April, at 6:00pm. The film is directed by Thomas Borch Nielsen, and the animated characters are voiced by Peter Frodin, Lars Hjortshoj, Birthe Neumann, Peter Hesse Overgaard, Trine Dyrholm, Helle Dolleris, Troels Lyby, Henning Jensen and Niels Anders Thorn.
It's not easy to be Barry. An earthworm, who is at the bottom of the food chain, gets no respect. But one day, an old disco record turns his life upside down. Suddenly he sees before him his own destiny - the star of the world's greatest disco band, Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms. Okay, he's got no arms, no rhythm and no band, but Barry says: "We'll do it anyway!"
