Music Nite By Benny Dayal: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR MUSIC NITE BY BENNY...

Jaane tu ya jaane na, but Benny Dayal is in town to perform at Sintillashunz. This Pappu can't dance but he can definitely sing. Hyderabad sure will agree!

V N R Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering & Technology (VJIET) is organising its annual college fest, Sintillashunz 2011, from 17th to 20th February, at the college's campus in Bachupally village. As part of the fest, popular south-Indian singer Benny Dayal will be performing on the evening of the second day, at 7pm.

Benny Dayal is a member of the band S5 launched by the channel SS Music. He has worked as a playback singer with A R Rahman in several movies, including Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Delhi-6 and Ghajini. He was awarded the R D Burman Award for the New Music Talent at the 54th Filmfare Awards 2009.

Benny Dayal performed at NIT Calicut as part of the cultural festival Ragam '09, and Sastra University as a part of the cult fest Kuruksastra in the year 2009. He also performed with Stephen Devassy and others at SSN College of Engineering in 2010, and at Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology in 2010 as part of Instincts.

Currently, he is with a Chennai-based band called "Hexachord", composed of his college mates from Madras Christian College.
