3 decades and still going strong - here's an artiste who has, not so quietly, been part of the glory of quite a few Carnatic stalwarts.
Under the aegis of the All India Crafts Mela, Shilparamam is presenting a violin solo recital by B S Narayanan, on 24th December.
B S Narayanan is a disciple of Sangeeta Kalanidhi T M Krishnan, and is an 'A' Grade artist of AIR/DD. He has served All India Radio for 30 years as a staff artist. He has accompanied stalwarts that include Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Shankaranarayanan and T M Krishnan, and has performed solo concerts, too. He visited Moscow and the Middle East under the ICCR Cultural Exchange Program.
Shilparamam entry charges of Rs. 25 per adult and Rs. 10 per kid are applicable. Please contact the venue at 2310-0455 for further details.
