Vaishali Bisht's Theatre Workshop is presenting Hyderabad's 1st Children's Theatre Festival, from 23rd to 25th November, at the Shilpakala Vedika auditorium.

Once Upon A... Tiger, a play directed by Jaimini Pathak, will be staged on the last day. The cast of the play includes Vishal Dalvi, Anshul Gupta, Nitin Swami, Vinay Gupta, Jaspreet Taunque, Shweta Tripathi, Anup Burte, Trupti Khamkar, Deepak Agarwal, Nidhi Singh and Anand Ramprasad.

This play takes you to the jungle in search of a missing tiger, with music, and dance. You are directly invited to participate in the play at every step, and, possibly, shape its direction. The play speaks about how we are all part of the great big web of life, tiger and human alike; and how thoughtless destruction of our wildlife, forests and rivers directly affects us.

Vaishali Bisht Children Theatre came into existence in 2000. Vaishali is a degree holder in theatre arts from the University of Kent, England. She has conducted many children workshops till date, and has also directed, acted in and written many plays.
