The Hyderabad Film Club, in collaboration with the Mexican Embassy in New Delhi and the Federation Of Film Societies Of India, is presenting a Mexican Film Festival from 17th to 19th July, at Sarathi Studios, Ameerpet. A total of 5 films will be screened during the 3-day festival.
The She-Wolves (Santo Contra Las Lobas) is the first film to be screened on the second day of the festival, at 6pm. The film was directed by Jaime Jimenez Pons and Rubwn Galind.
In a ceremony, the old queen of the wolf-women is replaced by a new and young queen called Luba. She goes to Santo's dressing room, where she flirts with him. She then goes to a hotel with a private detective and kills him.
Santo travels by train to the small town of Cenega and in the same train, the king of the Transylvanian wolf-men arrives in a coffin.
During a party in town there is a fight with the wolf-men, in which Santo is bitten by one of them and can only avoid becoming one by killing them during the next red moon, which he manages to.
