Indian Cowboy - Indo-American Film By Nikhil Kamkolkar

The Moving Images film club, in association with the US Consulate General, is presenting an Indo-American Film Festival from 19th to 21st February, at the Prasad Labs Preview Theatre. A total of 8 films will be screened during the 3-day festival. Indian Cowboy is the last film on the last day of the film festival, at 4:30pm.



A tongue-in-cheek exploration of "true love", Indian Cowboy is a story about Nick, a young writer who wants to experience love at its most glorious, and with a decidedly happy ending. When he falls in love with Sapna, who believes that all stories of true love end in tragedy a la "Romeo and Juliet" or "Laila and Majnu," his quest for the perfect ending to his own love story inevitably begins. The film features Sheetal Sheth, Deep Katdare and Sundra Oakley, and is written and directed by Nikhil Kamkolkar.
