REVIEW FOR PEMMARAJU'S BOOK RELEASE
Vamsee International is releasing a book titled Srungara Bharyalahari, written by Acharya Pemmaraju Venugopala Rao of Atlanta, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, on 21st July.
The program starts with a musical nite by M V Ramana Kumari and group, followed by the book release. On this occasion, Vamsee International will be felicitating the Pemmaraju couple with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The chief guest for the evening is Padmabhushan and Gnanpeeth awardee Dr C Narayana Reddy. The other invited guests for the function are Indraganti Srikanth Sarma, Chairman of the Vanguri Foundation of America; Mudigonda Sivaprasad, poet; Dr J Bapu Reddy, IAS, poet; Y V S R S Sai, Editor of Rachana magazine; and P Vijayababu, senior journalist and Associate Editor of Andhra Prabha.
Acharya Pemmaraju Venugopala Rao was born in Tirupatipuram of Andhra Pradesh, and had his basic education in Eluru and college education in Visakhapatnam. He completed his engineering from Eugena, Oregon. He obtained a Ph D from the University of Oregon.
Currently, he is teaching Physics and is also conducting a research in atomic, nuclear and quantum physics at the Emory University, Atlanta. He has special interest towards theater arts, painting, poetry and philosophy. He is also the chairman of the TAMA Fund Raising Unit.
