ICONART Gallery is having an exhibition of paintings, drawings and poetry by Shambu Prasad Reddy. The exhibition will be inaugurated at 6:30pm on the 13th June, and is on view everyday from 11:30am to 7pm, till 27th June.
Shambu Prasad Reddy did his MFA from the University of Hyderabad. He started exhibiting his work at Birla Art Gallery, Hyderabad. He won the All-India Art Exhibition Award twice, and the PS Telugu University annual award in the year 2003. He has also participated in a number of art camps and workshops, including the Young Artists Camp (Hyderabad), The State Bank Of India Art Camp (Hyderabad) and the International Painters' & Printmakers' Workshop, University of Hyderabad. He is the recipient of the All-India Art Exhibition award twice and the PS Telugu University annual awardThe artist's works are characterized by triangles and other geometric forms.
