NTPC Electron Quiz 2012: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR NTPC ELECTRON QUIZ 2012

The annual NTPC Electron Quiz 2012 competition for the southern region will be held on 6 December 2012, at 3:30pm, at Family World.

The Southern Region event is open to students from engineering institutes and business schools from all over South India.

NTPC Limited has been organizing the "Electron Quiz" for the last eight years. The "Electron Quiz" has become a popular event among leading business management and engineering institutes in the country.

The quiz is conducted at two levels - the regional level in Hyderabad, and then the national level in New Delhi.

Each college / institution can nominate two or more teams consisting of two members in each team, for the regional level event. Based on their performance in the qualifying round and the elimination round, 6 teams will take part in the regional level final competition on the same day.

The top three teams from among the six teams will then participate in the national finals to be held in the second week of December, 2012.

Prizes worth Rs. 1,00,000, which include the first prize worth Rs. 30,000, the 2nd prize worth Rs. 20,000, the third prize worth Rs. 10,000 and consolation prizes worth Rs. 4,000 per team (for the 4th, 5th & 6th positions), will be given away on the same day.

In addition, special prizes and mementos or souvenirs will be given to members of the audience for the audience round.
