New Year Bash At Kakatiya: Events in Hyderabad

Hyder Mahal: There's a Lebaneses belly dancer to perform, well, belly dancing.
Not to worry, she doesn't wear hula-hoops to hold her pants. Then, there's a four-piece
band called Illusions from Philippines. To accompany us all evening will also
be DJ Errol.

The pricing is Rs. 4500 per couple and Rs. 2500 per accompanied single. It includes
the best of Katatiya and Arabic cuisine. A Rs. 500 gift voucher from Wills Lifestyle
forms a part of all the entries. There is also a lucky dip where the 1st prize
is a ticket for 2 to fly to Emirates.

Dublin: The theme for the night is called 'Tequila, Tequila.' So you sort
of get the picture of what's going to happen there. Dj Julien will be spinning
the disc for some really groovy tunes, helping to ring in the New Year, real loud.
Entry is Rs. 1500 for a couple and Rs. 900 for single.

Deccan Pavilion Coffee Shop: There's music and dance here, pure and completely
unadulterated. Just like some of us like it, DJ, his music and us. Just for Rs.
1000 per head.

Dumpukht: For a quite dinner and some class, live ghazals by some well-known
singers. The cover charge is Rs. 850 that is adjustable against the bill.

Dakshin: As the name suggests, only traditional entertainment here. Classical
music with traditional dance performances would be the order of the day, er, night.
The cover charge is Rs. 750 adjustable against the bill.

A common denominator to all of these is, gifts galore. Apart from that, at Pehswari,
Ala Carte with revised rates, is awaiting some hungry mouths. As is the Midnight
Bounty at Deccan Pavilion for Rs. 450.

So, it seems that ITC Kakatiya is the place to be this New Year's Eve; whatever
might be the weight of your pockets.
