As part of our commitment towards community service, the students of the The Primary Years Students (PYP) will be presenting a play called Narnia on Dec 19th 2014 at the RNR auditorium in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. All funds raised by the event will be utilized towards improving the drinking water facilities for the people residing in the Kondakal village.
Originally published in 1949, the Chronicles of Narnia are a series of stories that celebrate courage, faith and the power of good. Written by C. S. Lewis, these stories were inspired by the unique imagination of children and conditions created in England during the World War II. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has been adapted several times for screen, radio and for the stage enthralling audiences across the world with the magic of Narnia. IISH presents this musical adaptation with an ensemble cast from Grades 1 to 5, where the story of the Pevensies is told through dance, choral work, movement, puppetry and dialogue.
