Ministry Of Sound With DJs Steve Boyd & Ivan: Events in Hyderabad

Ministry of Sound London Resident DJ Steve Boyd and Ministry of Sound India Resident DJ Ivan will combine together in spinning the best in EDM beats on 4th September, at the News Cafe, Inorbit Mall. Joining them are Hyderabad DJs Murthovic and Sidhu.

Steve Boyd is in India for the very first time. Back home, he has his own club called the Thompsons Garage, holding down residencies like Hed Kandi, Defected and Renaissance. He has played thousands of gigs and held his own laying down Jacking House music with Derrick Carter, tough Tech House with Mark Knight, soulful sounds with Miguel Migs and hypnotic progressive soundscapes with Sasha. His big break came in the 1990s, when he played alongside Paul Oakenfold.

One of the most celebrated DJs in India, Ivan, kickstarted his career 15 years ago at a nightclub called Time & Again during 1992-94, and since then, has played alongside some well-known DJs in world - including Paul Van Dyk, Danny Rampling, Sasha, Smoking Joe, Tom Stephen, Lee Buridge and Steve Lawler.

A top-ranked DJ in the country, he has several firsts to his credit. DJ Ivan is the first and only Indian DJ to play at the Ministry Of Sound's first official tour of India in 2001, the first Indian DJ to host an international dance show on a radio station (Radio City 91.1 FM during 2001-03), the first Indian DJ to perform in Dubai, and the official Disc Jockey for Channel [V] India, Bacardi Martini and Smirnoff India.
