Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad and Jeeva Organics are presenting a workshop on cooking millets.
Over the years, our diets have changed considerably with the invasion of rice and wheat into all our meals. Nutritious millets once were the staple cereal of our diet. They were grown locally, and adapted well to local soils and rain-fed conditions. Slowly, there has been a revival of these millets, but the knowledge on how to use them seems to be lost. This workshop aims to teach you to make a few millet dishes and demonstrate how you can incorporate them in your daily diet.
