Kalpana Raghavendar, born on May 8, 1980, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is a renowned Indian playback singer and performer, primarily active in the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. Hailing from a musical family, her father, T S Raghavendra, was a distinguished playback singer, actor, and composer, while her mother, Sulochana, is also a singer. Kalpana began her singing career at the tender age of five and has since recorded over 1,500 tracks and performed in approximately 3,000 shows worldwide. In 2010, she won the Malayalam singing competition "Star Singer" Season 5. She also participated in the first season of "Bigg Boss Telugu" in 2017.
