The Seher Band is a dynamic ensemble originating from Bengaluru, Karnataka, renowned for their fusion of Bollywood and rock music, enriched with soulful Sufi influences. Established in August 2019 by a group of college friends united by their passion for music, the band has rapidly gained prominence, performing over 600 shows across India. The band's lineup features six talented musicians: Ovais Kareem - Lead vocalist with training in Hindustani and Western vocals; Pranjal Srivastava - Lead guitarist influenced by blues and R&B; Debashis Mitra - Bassist with a distinction from Rockschool, London; Subhajit Das - Drummer and percussionist proficient in various instruments; Raj Laxman - Keyboardist with an 8th-grade certification from Trinity; and Divyam Tibrewal - Rhythm guitarist skilled in multiple string instruments.
