SAFE Health Foundation is organizing a live musical concert titled "Telugu Padaniki Janmadinam", a musical tribute to legendary Telugu lyricist Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy, as part of his birthday celebrations. There will be live performances by film playback singers Neehal, Parthasarathy, Ramachary, Mallikarjun, Gopika Purnima, Malavika and Nitya Santoshini, and other singers that include Bhuvana Kruthi, Satya Yamini, Sahithi, Rohith and Saketh.
This event will also see the Veturi Life Time Achievement Award being presented to Padmabhushan Dr. S P Balasubrahmanyam, the famous playback singer. Other award presentations lined up are: the Memorial Award to Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao (lyricist & poet) and the Appreciation Award to K Ramachary (founder, Little Musicians Academy).
Esrtwhile movie director Dr. K Viswanath will attend the event as chief guest, and Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry and Tanikella Bharani will be the guests of honor.
Kodanda Rami Reddy, Kodi Ramakrishna, Tammareddi Bharadwaja, Suddala Ashok Teja, Chandra Bose, Ramajogayya Sastry, Koti, Madhavapeddi Suresh and other prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry will be present. Dignitaries from corporates & the government are also expected to attend.
The event is scheduled on 28 January 2014, from 4pm onwards, at Sri Satyasai Nigamagamam, Srinagar Colony. ETV Telugu is the media partner for this event.
