Mud and mirror work also known as Lippan Kaam is a traditional mural craft of Kutch, Gujrat. It is done on walls of houses using mixture of clay and camel dung which keeps the interiors of the houses cool acting as an insulater and mirrors reflecting the sunlight. Lippan work now finds its pride in modern homes with a contemporary twist to it done using shilpkar clay in the form of wall decor measuring 8"?8" in circular shape.
