Kuchipudi Vaibhavam - Kuchipudi Recital By Prateeksha Kashi: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR KUCHIPUDI VAIBHAVAM - KUCHIPUDI...

The Dance Department of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University is presenting a 2-day dance festival on 24th and 25th January at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. As part of the festival, Prateeksha Kashi from Bangalore will be presenting Kuchipudi Vaibhavam, a Kuchipudi dance recital, at 5:30pm.

Daughter and disciple of celebrity Kuchipudi dancer and guru Vyjayanthi Kashi, Prateeksha started at a very young age. At the age of thirteen, Prateeksha topped the state in the Kuchipudi dance exams with a distinction. Prateeksha has also received a central government scholarship to further her dance in Kuchipudi. She is a graded artiste of Doordarshan.

Prateeksha has played the lead roles in many dance productions choreographed by her as part of Shambhavi Dance Ensemble for many national festivals. Her recent performances at Los Angeles and Manchester were highly applauded. She also performed at the Milap Fest, U K. She was recently invited as an assistant tutor to teach Kuchipudi at the International Summer School in Manchester.
