REVIEW FOR KUCHIPUDI BY VINJAMOORI RAGASUDHA

Mahati Arts is conducting a dance program by Vinjamoori Ragasudha on 9th June at Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha. She will be dancing to old devotional songs of Ghantasala, which will be sung by P V Ramana of Kakinada.

Ragasudha learnt Kuchipudi at the Thyagaraja College Of Music And Dance in Hyderabad, under Dr. K Uma Rama Rao & Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna. Her stint as the Principal of Kuoni Academy before relocating to the UK in 2004 gave her an opportunity to train the staff of Jet Airways and Air Sahara.

Ragasudha is also a cultural commentator, and has reviewed Indian cultural programs in the North-West for the media and for Narthaki website. She has also given performances at Manchester, Warrington, Stoke-on-Trent and other venues across the world.
