The Mitr Foundation is presenting "Krishan Vs Kanhaiya", a Hindi play featuring Paresh Rawal, at the Shilpakala Kala Vedika. The event is being held on 13 January, at 8pm.
The play is produced by Paresh Rawal's spouse Swaroop Sampat, directed by Umesh Shukla, and written by Bhawesh Mandaliya.
This Hindi play is based on the Gujarati comedy play "Kanji Virrudh Kanji". It is about a Gujarati atheist bussiness man, and his "interactions" with God.
Krishan's bussiness tanks, and the insurance company refuses his claim because, according to them, the business got destroyed due to an act of God.
From that point onwards, Krishan decides to fight the almighty God "Kanhaiya", by filing a lawsuit against God in court.
Paresh Rawal is an Indian actor, who made his film debut in 1984. He mainly played supporting and villain roles throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He has won several awards, including a National Film award, 3 Filmfare awards, 3 Star Screen awards, a IIFA award, and a Zee Cine award.
