Judgement - A Play By Rasaranjini: Events in Hyderabad

Rasaranjini curses the rapists to line up on the side of the undertakers.

Rasaranjini Cultural Organization is presenting a play called Judgement, on the 18th and the 19th of December. This is a social play, written by S A Rao and directed by Mohan Senapathy.

Judgement targets the social malice of eve-teasing and rape with poignancy. In the play, a college girl is raped by an industrialist's son, who gets only 7-years jail-term. The father of the victim kills the perpetrator, and is himself in the box for it. The judge sympathises with the grieved family, but expressing helplessness, resigns.

Rasaranjini is a well known local organization, credited with presenting stage plays, every month, on burning topics of the day.
