As part of its 6th anniversary celebrations, Goethe-Zentrum has invited a young music band from Germany called "Jazzkomplott" to perform live at their premises under the banyan tree open courtyard. JazzKomplott has consists of the following members since their inception in 2004: Hannes R?ssler (saxophone), Christian Lippert (guitar), Hendrik Krause (Bass), and the Litschko Brothers - Clemen (drums) and Konrad (piano).
In their early twenties, these 5 musicians from Brandenburg, Germany, gained acclaim by winning the German national competition "Jugend jazzt" twice, in 2005 and 2007. All band members have been playing in the regional jazz orchestras of Berlin and Brandenburg. They play a vast repertoire of music - Modern Jazz, Funk, Swing and Fusion.
Jazzkomplott has been recognized and awarded at several German young-jazz competitions, and has performed at various concerts and festivals throughout Germany as well as in New York. The band has already released three albums - Kantich Schon (2009), Gruppentherapie (2007) and Ausverkauft (2004).
