As part of Kala Foundation's Annual Theatre Festival 2011, "Jai Pathalabhairavi", a Telugu mythological play, is being staged on the 24th and the 25th of this December, at 6:30pm on both the days. The venue is Ravindra Bharathi.
This mythological is presented by Kala Foundation and the theatre group Surabhi. Noted Telugu artistes Manju Bhargavi, Tanikella Bharani and Shafi, among others, are starring in the play.
Kala Foundation is a cultural charitable trust working towards the all-round development & the upliftment of art and artists. The funds of this show will be utilised for a pension scheme for old & needy artists.
Surabhi is a 125-year-old professional Telugu family theatre group, and is known for the special effects that it brings to stage.
Donor passes are available at Ravindra Bharathi from 4pm to 8pm. Tickets are priced at Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,000, Rs. 500 and Rs. 200.
