The International Women's Film Festival of Hyderabad is being organized in Hyderabad from 7 to 11 March, with an aim to highlight women and gender-related issues through films.
The festival seeks to screen unconventional and hard-hitting films and documentaries, and thus provide a platform to the people of the city for discourse and discussion on the issues of women, gender and feminism.
IWFF's mission is to entertain, inform, inspire, encourage and educate audiences to the the issues affecting women through film screenings and discussions. Artists and film makers who increase awareness, provide multiple viewpoints, address complex social issues, and inspire audiences through their cinema and art, will be honoured.
