The future of the country - the youth - consists of a very determined lot. And to prove this, some of them are coming together for the Youth Assembly 2009, to emphasize the concept of sharing, and to make India a better place, at Sri Satya Sai Nigamagamam, from 11th to 12th October. The sessions will begin at 10am.
Youth today is focused more towards self-esteem and recognition in a competitive world - where life is all about winning and losing. There is success, but less of self-actualisation. And people feel sharing can take place only after earning crores.
The Youth Assembly aims to create awareness amongst youth, to share without inhibitions for all-round prosperity. Some eminent personalities are being featured as guest speakers on both the days. Over 1,500 students from colleges and universities across India are expected to participate.
The assembly will witness discussions and speeches on Youth Led Transformation and Youth Involvement-Opportunities and Perspective, spread over 2 days.
The list of celebrity speakers includes:
Daggubati Purandeswari (Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Govt. Of India)
Padma Bhushan Sri Anna Hazare (Social Activist)
