On the occasion of the 67th year of Indian Independence, Taj Falaknuma Palace is hosting a gala dinner, with a walk of the palace, a marching band from the Indian Army, and a screening of footage on Mahatma Gandhi by Walter Cronkite. There will also be a screening of exclusive memorabilia on the Independence struggle, from the Peace Truth Ahimsa Museum, Hyderabad. Profits from the proceeds will go towards charity, for the education of underprivileged children.
