C V Anand is currently the Additional Commissioner of Police in charge of Traffic, Hyderabad. Anand was known for his exploits in various Naxal areas, where he turned the tide with his men, in several raids on extremists.
He brought about reforms in the department, and had an impressive track record in cracking various sensational cases.
C V Anand received the President's Gallantry award and the Indian Police Medal for his contribution to Police Services.
