This week, if you don't have the money, it's Lalitha Kala Thoranam. If you have the money, it's the more fancy places. And if you don't have the taste, you should.
The Hyderabad Film Club, the A P Film Directors' Association and Films Anonymous, with support from the Andhra Pradesh State Film, Theatre & Television Development Corporation and the A P Travel & Tourism Development Corporation, apart from the Telugu film industry, is organising the Hyderabad International Film Festival, at various screening venues across the city.
The festival will focus on World Cinema, World Classics, Indian Cinema, Telugu Cinema, Homage and Tributes, and Short and Documentary films. In addition, there will be seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions everyday. There will also be competitions for short and documentary films, but the competition is restricted to films produced in India.
Entry to the festival screenings is strictly through delegate passes, earmarked for Guests, Organising Committee Members, Invitees and Delegates. The delegate passes are priced at Rs. 300 for the entire period of the festival. These passes can be obtained from the festival office in Sarathi Studios at Ameerpet, on production of two passport size photographs.
World Cinema contains 49 films from 25 countries, including World Classics - 10 films, Telugu Classics - 6 films, Focus on South Africa - 7 films, Telugu Popular Cinema - 6 films, Indian Cinema - 20 films, and Indian Short & Documentary Films (competition) - 60 films.

1. Sensation Insomnia and Sensation Sunshine, Lakdi-ka-Pul
2. Prasads Multiplex, and Srinivasa 35mm, Narayanaguda
3. Lalita Kala Thoranam - inaugural function on 22nd evening and daily screenings from 7:00pm. Open to all. 4. Prasads Multiplex (Screen – 5) – Workshops & Seminars.
