The play is an adaptation of Scene 1 of Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot". Vladimir and Estragon wait under a tree for a person named Godot. While they wait, they sing, dance, talk, argue and play games, meet Pozzo and Lucky, who are passing through.
The question is: will Godot ever arrive? This tragi-comedy reflects the world view of the 1950s and the philosophical vacuum that existed in the aftermath of World War 2.
