Planet 3 Protection Alliance is organizing a Harithon on 19 Feburary 2012, at the People's Plaza on Necklace Road.
The Harithon is a green run, that aims to make people aware of environmental issues and green lifestyles.
The event will feature a solar exhibition, a demo of a rain-water harvesting pit, a workshop on recycling, khadi promotion and square meter gardening. Bicycles, paper, cloth and jute bags and natural dyes are other subjects expected to be featured.
Planet 3 Protection Alliance is an NGO started by a group of college students. Their aim is to promote environmentally healthy practices in the city, and to remedy the dire environmental situation in Hyderabad.
The registration fee is Rs. 200, which will cover an Eco T-Shirt, an Eco Scarf, refreshments, a sapling and a certificate.
