Lamakaan is hosting a handloom bazaar for the sale and exhibit of the "fabric of freedom". The monthly handloom bazaar is an initiative to bring back handloom into mainstream popular culture. It also aims to educate people on the issues of handloom weavers, and also on how to recognize "real handloom" from fakes and "powerloom products". The bazaar will also include talks from time to time, displays of weaving skills, and interactive sessions for children.
