Urdu and Farsi languages haven't been adorned more, thanks to some authentic ghazal and shayari sessions in our city. Not just for the lyrical value, but for the way the whole audience is enraptured in the bind of the poetry and the music. At times the wah wahs are louder than the recital itself.
Ravindra Bharati plays host to the popular ghazal singer Sharad Gupta, who's been singing as a little boy and has none other than Anup Jalota for a guru.
