In this documentary, women from all five continents, from different cultures and backgrounds, talk about their existence. They recall life-changing moments as readily as the most trivial memories. Hopes and dreams are described alongside an often heightened sense of life's pains and sorrows.
French artist, photographer and former solo navigator Titouan Lamazou made 15 three-month trips on five continents to record women's stories in words and in images. His portraits also reveal the direction our societies are taking.
The finished portraits (composed of sketches, paintings, landscape and portrait photographs arranged as large-scale collages) went on show at the Paris Mus?e de l'Homme, and were collected in 50 four-minute profiles.
