The Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication is organising Footprints '08, a media seminar, in Hyderabad, on 27th Nov, from 9am to 5pm.
A constituent of the Symbiosis International University, SIMC is an integrated media & communication educational initiative. Footprints is a knowledge-sharing event, which consists of a congregation of visionaries and distinguished faces in the media. The platform allows students and aspiring media professionals to interact with pioneers of the industry and gain insights into the nuances of the field of media and communication. It is organized by the media trainees of the institute, who manage and conduct the event in 22 cities; 21 in the country and one city abroad (Dubai).
There are three segments in Hyderabad Footprints '08 this year:
1. Citizen Journalism -10am to 12pm
2. Branding Innovations and Interactive Media - 12:15pm to 1:45pm
3. Alternative media - 2:15pm to 3:30pm

The registration fee is Rs. 30, and those interested may register at the venue between 9am and 10am. Participants will receive an official participation certificate from the Symbiosis International University.
