Apour Ti Yapour. Na Jang Na Aman. Yei Chu Talukpeth ("Between Border And The Fence. On The Edge Of The Map") is a 2011 Kashmiri-Urdu-English film (runtime: 78 minutes) by Ajay Raina.
The film is about the people living on the LOC, a semi-permanent border that divides Kashmir between India and Pakistan. It explores the same themes as Raina's previous documentaries - Tell Them, The Tree They Had Planted Has Now Grown and Wapsi. All the films explore geographical and psychological dislocation, the notion of exile, and the yearning for a return to less fractious times.
The film festival is being presented by FD ZONE (Mumbai), in association with Kashmiris In Hyderabad, Moving Images, Documentary Circle Of Hyderabad, Prasad Film Labs, Lamakaan, University of Hyderabad, EFL University, NALSAR University, Annapurna International School of Film + Media & St. Ann's College. The festival will feature documentaries, features, shorts, readings and discussions on Kashmir.
