IIIT-H will be conducting the 7th edition of the annual workshop ExOR (Excitement Of Research) at the Gachibowli campus, from 28th to 29th November. The workshop will begin at 10am.
ExoR, which is organized each year for the engineering student community, is meant to excite deep interest in research, and encourage students to take up research, both in academics and in their careers. The activities planned for the seventh ExoR include the following:
- Keynote addresses by eminent researchers, Dr. R Sreehari Rao (Chief Controller, R&D, Government of India) and Prof U B Desai (Director, IIT, Hyderabad)
- Research presentations and interactive sessions
- Exposure to contemporary corporate research
- Demonstrations of some of the ongoing research at IIIT-H
The total number of seats is limited to 180, and seats are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Only students in the 3rd year of their B. Tech program are allowed to participate, and participants will be provided free lunch and snacks. There is no registration fee.
