Shrishti Art Gallery is presenting an exhibition of paintings and drawings by M Narayan, from 10 December to 12 January 2013, from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
M Narayan, born in 1967, comes from a small village in Karnataka called Mittiganahalli. He completed his BFA from the Ken School of Art, Bangalore.
Narayan is known for his ethnic rural depictions. His paintings inspired by the regal sport polo have been a success. Working since 1991, he has participated in over 30 solo exhibitions, and several group shows.
His works have been purchased as well as commissioned by distinguished industrialists and enthusiasts - including Jaydev Mody, Vijay Mallya, Dr. Cyrus Poonawala and Avinash Bhosale.
