Bangalore-based J M S Mani is exhibiting his latest paintings of landscapes and figurative works from 15th to 30th November, at the Shrishti Art Gallery. A total of 35 of these works are on display.
Born in 1949 in Bangalore, Mani studied at the Ken School of Art, Bangalore. He has held several solo shows, and participated in many group shows and workshops in India and abroad.
Mani has also been part of many art camps held in India. His works are in private and institutional and corporate collections, mostly in Bangalore, the predominant ones being at Indian Institute Of Science, Hotel Oberoi, Hotel Le Meridien, Infosys, Bharat Electronics and Bangalore City Planetarium, besides at Tata Steel Limited (Jamshedpur), Karnataka Bhavan (New Delhi) and Kannada University, Hampi.
Mani lives and works in his studio at Bangalore.
