The story of the play revolves around a lady who is loquacious and loves company but is confined to a house by her chauvinist husband. She feels lonely, and looks for company with all sorts of means in the house.
She has two children and a perverted brother-in-law who is restricted to a wheel chair.
She keeps chatting with her neighbor, demonstrating her emotions with extreme measures to save her sanity. She is haunted by a crank caller, a money-lender and a young lover, and is also exploited by her brother-in-law.
Anger, frustration, restlessness, hope, regret, guilt and determination define her inner turmoil. Will she be able to live freely and break shackles? Will she get the love & care she desires & deserves?
The play stars Sanjogita Mishra, and is a Hindi translation of Dario Fo's play., by Himanshu B Joshi. The design & direction is by Suhas Barve, and Saurabh Gharipurikar is the production controller.
