To be benevolent is a virtue, and the Hyderabad Council of Human Welfare makes it a tad easier. Calling all music aficionados, tonite, for the cause of street children's education.
The council works towards educational empowerment of street and working children, with 3 centers in town catering to the cause.
Chhandam - The Rhythm, a music troupe from Kolkata, ties up with the council tonite for an evening to rememeber. Sengupta of Chhandam, together with his troupe will be belting out hits from Big B's films. And to add to the delight, are kids from the council who'll be dancing to those numbers. The proceeds of this programme will be directly utilized for the rehabilitation of such children.
Gracing the event will be chief guest Ms. Chandana Khan, Commissioner - Department of Enquiry, Mr. Raj Thakur, MP, Mr. Sriramulu, Commissioner - Department of Juvenile Welfare and Correctional Services.
