Ministry Of Sound is presenting a night of house music by David Newsum from Dubai, on 26th June, at Mix. The opening set will be by Dirty Deccan from Hyderabad.
David Newsum is the resident DJ at Dubai's biggest weekly party "Peppermint", and has played alongside Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and the Shapeshifters, amongst others. Not content with merely deejaying, he decided to rejuvenate 'Conception', a club night he started in London several years ago. He launched Conception with Judge Jules in December 2005, and since then, the club has seen guests that include Fergie, Tall Paul, Maxi Jazz from Faithless, Eddie Halliwell, and Above & Beyond.
Dirty Deccan is a Hyderabad-based DJ group consisting of DJ Karan, DJ Krishna, DJ Kris and Nikhita C Cordeiro. The genre of music the group plays is Dutch House and Progressive, and the group's music is influenced by Afrojack, Chuckie, Mellefresh, Sydney Samson, and Deadman.
