There are umpteen love stories. Despite the repetitiveness of it all we love most of them. Dil is no exception to this rule. Of course, having a strong screenplay always helps a film's case. And it helped Dil, no doubt.
Seenu (Nitin) is a spunky young chap who rescues Nandini (Neha) from rowdy ragging in college. The natural course of love betweeen these two is rudely interrupted by Nandini's father, Gowry Shankar (Prakash Raj), a mafia leader. Nithin goes into action-hero mode, and the rest of the tale is, how boy successfully marries girl.
