When the show is about a danseuse who is equally at ease on the shop floor and the dance stage, the correct synthesis of both art and science can be relished.
Gautami Chaudhary is a mechanical engineer at TCS Bombay by profession and a Kuchipudi danseuse by interest. Trained by the famous musical exponent Balamurali Krishna, she is well versed in the Kuchipudi tradition. Her performance will include Vinayaka Stuti, Dharmapuri Javili and Thyagaraja Keerthanas.
This will be followed by a rendition of Tillana, Lingastakam, Vatapi and Namah Shivaya by nine children trained by Gautami Chaudhary.
