This event, organized by the DAAD Information Center Chennai, takes place on the 5th of April 2014 at the University of Hyderabad Campus from 9:30am to 1:30pm, and is open to all interested students and researchers from all study areas.
The German Consulate Chennai will inform students about the visa application process, and will answer individual questions.
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is a joint organisation of German institutions of higher education and student bodies. DAAD promotes academic co-operation worldwide, especially through the exchange of students, scholars, academics and scientists. With its worldwide web of regional offices and information centers, the DAAD spreads information about study and research in Germany, and is also a scholarship granting organisation.
The program encompasses information on Germany as a destination for study and research regarding the internationalization of German universities, English speaking Bachelor, Master and PhD programs, the German university system, low tuition fees, funding and scholarships as well as the application procedures.
Professors from Germany and India will share insider perspectives on study and research in Germany, and will be open to answer individual questions. The Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad will conduct a session on German language and culture.
