The Creative Workshop For Kids at Treasure House is aimed at improving children's standard of writing by using the teaching method 'Big Write', developed by Ros Wilson.
The 'Big Write' methodology relies on the 4 pillars of vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation, and helps children use them in expressing and structuring their ideas. In the workshop, each child will be asked to write 2 pieces, and feedback will be shared with parents, too. Mellow music playing in the background and nibblers as rewards will ensure that the kids have their share of fun.
The workshop will be facilitated by Asma, who is a Montessori-trained teacher with 8 years of teaching experience. She has experienced diverse teaching environments, and aims to encourage a structured, positive and creative learning style.
The workshop will be held from Monday to Friday in the time slot 2pm-4pm. Please contact 2355-0118 for further details.
