It's an open secret that Hyderabad loves Chinese food. Actually, whoever said anything about it being a secret? Cooking it however is, and here's some justice being done.
On the occasion of Times Hyderabad Festival, free cooking classes are being organised by renowned chefs of the city, who will whip up Chinese, South-Indian, North-West Frontier, Italian and Hyderabadi cuisine, from 2nd to 6th April, at various premium eateries like Ahala, Firdaus and Golden Dragon of Taj Krishna, Kebab-E-Bahar of Taj Banjara, Dakshin of ITC Kakatiya, Mainland China and Touch.
Today, the final day, Chef Hung Fung Ng, the in-house head chef of Golden Dragon restaurant of Taj Krishna, will present live demonstrations of Chinese cooking methods, and will prepare some traditional dishes of China, like Fish Mao Soup, Kung Pao Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Santung Vegetable and Spring Rolls.
